        Person may not give an honest answer either. When your out on date, ask person, can they invite you to their home for coffee, from their reply, you might get your answer.

          Look at their ring finger ; or ask their friends, or co workers. Or listen to the person talk to others. She might mention her husb or ex-husband. If you know her well enough to ask her out, just say, " Are you married,or heavily involved with someone ? "
