The most common symptoms of pneumonia:
Fever: mild or high
Cough (some pneumonias may cause coughing up green / yellow mucus, or even bloody mucus)
Shortness of breath (may only occur when climbing stairs)
Shaking chills
Other symptoms include:
Headache
Confusion, especially in older people
Excess sweating and clammy skin
Sharp or stabbing chest pain that gets worse when you breathe deeply or cough
Loss of appetite, low energy, and fatigue
