Tendinitis causes include the folowing ones: the most common cause of tendinitis is overuse and repetitive movement from recreational, sport, or occupational activities. Yet, trauma to the elbow can increase the risk to have tendinitis. Other risk factors include using antibiotics such as levofloxacin and ciprofloxacin, smoking, and thermal injury in the elbow tendon. People with diseases such as rheumatoid arthritis, obesity, and diabetes, are also more inclined to have tendinitis.
