    Changing such kind of decimal is very task.


    First of all remove the decimal to its end and watch the steps up to which you had gone. Then divide it by the specific zero [means if you move the decimal up to 3 point ahead, then divide it by 1000 and if you move the decimal up to 2 point ahead, then divide it by 100 and so on]


    For example, in above problem, if you move the decimal up to 3 point ahead, then the number become 125, then divide it by 1000 and simplify it to obtain the smallest ratio


    i.e. your answer would be 125/1000 which is equivalent to 1/8.


    Similarly, for second problem your answer would be 625/1000 and if you simplify, it would be 5/8.


    Now I think you would be able to handle such kind of problem.
