    I was at the local Vintage/Veteran commercial vehicle show today there was a Wolesley 25hp car there with a 4lk Gardner engine fitted to it fantastic .Anyhow I was talking to the person who owned it along with his Peterbuilt tractor unit and he was saying Gardner engines were fitted in Whites is this true and if so what were they called

    I can't verify that for certain but it is certainly possible.Here in Australia you could order a White with virtually any engine/transmission combo you desired.The most favoured being GMC/Road Ranger.

    Cheez,Dunno! I know Renault had a deal going with Mack out here a few years ago They made garbage trucks which were Renaukts but they put Mack badges on them.Anything is possible.
    I haven't seen a White truck in years macks & Volvos seem to be the prevelent Prime movers out here.
