      OMG - you posted this a month ago and I STILL cannot find T-Day stuff in the stores. Come on, people, all I want are a few paper napkins with some turkeys on them!

        . I think it is because Halloween has become the second largest money maker for retailers so they push halloween  merchandise a lot harder than Thanksgiving items.

            Thanksgiving is here in a milisecond...this is Canada.  I was at a Turkey fest and political rally by accident this past weekend.  The turkey stuff was everywhere!

                THanksgiving is the begining of the holiday shopping season so retailers put TG and Holloween items out at the same time.(many are the same anyway) And pull them up after Halloween to make room for the Xmas merch.

                    We only celebrate Thanksgiving for one day.  So I think retailers have not yet figured out how to turn it into a mega purchase day.  However, the biggest buying day over here is the day after Thanksgiving.  Plus I think we might get too fat if Thanksgiving were celebrated more than one day.  Yum Yum.

                      I see this happen alot..they maybe excited to get presents.Poor turkeys aren't feeling left out ....there having a party..there not DINNER
