I have always felt my parents were special most of my life. Of coarse the teen years hit and at that point I thought they were clueless and more of a nuisance. I have been blessed with parents who were excited the moment I was conceived. My mom has always been a nurturer, gentle and kind. I fashion myself around the person she is.It's true that not every parent is good at it, but someone hopefully in your life has given their lives in order to love and raise you to be the best you can. Remember, we all make mistakes as  parents as we only do what we know how to.In many ways I believe their mistakes teach you to be a better parent. Also realize that your mother is human and will say or do things that aren't always right.

 We almost lost my dad due to a stroke. Through this experience I have realized how important it is to make sure I am there for them and that they know how deeply loved they are.Don't live with regrets, tell your mom how special she is to you and thank her or giving up a huge part of her life to love and take care of you.
