It depends on the air, yes, that's right. In dry air (68F) the speed of sound is about 768mph.

The only reason I knew this, is because I researched it for my book. I almost laughed when I saw it. It did come in handy after all.
When you are asking the science question, try to be specific to your question.
By the way, speed of the sound in air ( at Normal Temperature & Pressure) is 330 m/s.
Note: Remember! the factors that effect the speed of the sound in the medium are temperature, humidity , density & direction of air flow.
So, in the same medium, speed of sound vary with different temperature.
