Venus was the Roman goddess of love. She was one of the 12 gods and goddesses, the others being: Jupiter, Juno, Neptune, Pluto, Vesta, Minerva, Diana, Apollo, Vulcan, Mars, and Mercury.
She is one of the 12 Olympian Gods/Goddesses. In Greek polytheism, each of these Roman gods and goddesses has an equivalent.

The new movement link is the Seiko 5k65 and its solar-quartz technology offers a maximum power reserve of nine months and accuracy of +- 15 seconds a link month. The GMT function is controlled via the link crown and the movement of the date is tied to the local hour hand as it should be offering the ability to correct the date in either direction if needed.
