A follow up to my question on starting a fire at 10,000 feet....When we tried this in Utah all the wood was in a firepit. At 3am in the morning, all the wood started to burn on it's own. We thought the forest was on fire at first. I agree that the lack of oxygen can be a part of the cause but it sure was odd.
