    How do I get rid of websites on my desktop when i cannot find a close-button ?

    I am on the internet, I open certain websites for information and then when I'm done with them and want to close them, I'm not able to find the "close" button. Sometimes it appears that this is done on purpose. How can I stymie their intended aggravation?
