Tomatoes shouldn't be refrigerated .I would set it  in the shade or let it cool down to room temperature  first before I ate it.

Eat as Mother nature intended straight from the Garden couldnt be nicer

Tomatoes are best at room temperature. This is the only way to get that delicious sweet tomato flavour.

I'm with @choppedtrump! A tomato sandwich, thick and dripping, mayo, a little salt and pepper and stand over the sink as you eat it.... And it's been too hot to grow tomatoes....

Doesn't really matter.If you picked it fresh from your own garden it's hard to be patient enough to let it cool down.
