When you face such a rapid change in vital functions, your body looks for a quick way to replenish its energy stores. Sugar is released into the blood stream faster than, say, complex carbohydrates like whole grains.

I never knew I was in menopause so I can't tell you what I did or did not crave.  They say eating a dill pickle kills the craving for sweets....

So does my sister. She'll even add salt to it. Have you seen the dill pickle pop-sickles? That's a little much for me........

Walmart sells them for about a buck....

You can eat the sugar however, this might lead to excess weight gain during menopause. Ensure to avoid taking foods that are rich in calories.
