       She became a singer in the early 1983's. Yes she does write her own songs. So does every other artist.

        Not true. Every artist does not write their own songs. That is why people can become song writers and make a living at it.

        Yes.  She said in an interview that she didn't write her songs to become famous she writes her songs to work things out.


        I guess she was one song short.

          I imagine that she did simply because of her own life experiences....if not then she had a great collaborator (sp?)
