Dividing and multiplying monomial is very easy one.
If you know the simple multiplication and division, then it will be easy for you.
Beside that, you should know the fundamental rule of indices of division and multiplication.
For example, if you multiply 'y' for three times i.e y × y × y , then your result will be y3 [pronounced as y raised to power 3 or y cube]
I'm telling very easy way to deal with the multiplication,
if you notice the above example, you must have notice the number of y, it is 3 , so its power is also 3.
Similarly, if you multiply y for four times, then your result will be y4 [pronounced as y raised to power 4]
Note: Division of unlike terms is not possible but you can multiply it.
