      I leave mine on all the time but be sure the air vents are clear, restart it at least once a week to keep it running well.

        I turn it off before going to bed and turn it on the next morning.  My friend said this way will give the computer a longer life.

          I was always told that coming back on and heating up again will shorten the life.
