Dogs names conveys human considerations of the name. Dogs named Prince or Duke behaves with  a since of pride, often excessive pride in the dogs behavior. Prince will be in an excessive number of fights with other dogs because of that name. Friendly names for pets are best…Buddy, Chum, Pal, Amigo and the like are names that give the dog a purpose of socializing well with people.
