      India has many religions influencing her for hundreds of years.  The primary religions are:  Hinduism, Buddhism, and Islam.  Indians are generally very religious people and would often go to the extreme of pleasing the gods.  For example, some Indians believe the rats are the gods, would feed them in the temple until there are hundreds of thousands of them in one place.  This is very unhygienic.
