Building the new towers should have nothing to with a problem people working where 3,000 people died. But, it should be a memorial to all who had lost their lives there will always be remembered.

no i think a memorial should be made to honor everyone that was involved in this heinous tragedy. whether they dead or alive, survivor or helper. with all they names listed lest we forget. add them little things to the wall you can put flowers in.

I cannot agree more with Carmaxable and Pamela that a memorial, e.g. a monument, should be put there in honor of those who died there a decade ago so that hey will be ever remembered.

The Bali bombings was another tradgedy,and there is a memorial ground put on the site.Gives people the chance to show respect and pray for the families that lost thier loved ones.

You want to know what would be worse , a muslim mosque or other muslim related building for the purpose to bring everybody together as some idiot mentioned or wanted to do. Thats BS.  I remember that because people threatened to bury a pig somewhere there to scare away the muslims from building , because of pig blood.

@ Dolly, Should we have started flying the Japanese flag at Pearl Harbor after it was attacked?
Now I know not all Muslims attacked the US but neither did all Japanese attack the US. I personally would see a Mosque at ground zero as a huge insult to those who died and those who lost loved ones.

They re memorializing the victims with great respect and grace. I Do believe that rebuilding is a great idea. I for one would be proud to work in and soldier on in the site.

From what I have seen so far with the new  buildings and the way  the  memorial is being  built  I think there  was a lot of thought and care put into the planning stages and erection of  it all .  well done to all who have worked on the project so far.

I think that the way they've planned the new trade center is great. They built a memorial site exactly where the twin towers once stood, and the new towers will be located around  50-100 meters from the memorial site:
