On August 5, 2011, Crompton signed with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. He was cut on September 3, 2011.
The Washington Redskins signed Crompton to their practice squad on September 4, 2011.[2]
On January 3, 2012, Crompton signed a futures contract with the Redskins.[3] On August 27, he was released by the team.[4] Two days later, Compton was re-signed by the Redskins.[5] Compton was released again on August 31, 2012 for final cuts before the start of the 2012 season.[6] http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jonathan_Crompton
