A dermatologist can usually remove them in the office.As for home remedies I have been told tying thread around them & leaving them alone untill they fall off.My vote goes to the doctor visit however.

The difficulty with 'tying off the skin tag' (the do-it yourself method) means you are preventing blood circulating. This in itself can cause complications like infection and Gangrene. I agree with Metal Face seek medical advice!

Go to a doctor and get it snipped off.  Hardly any pain.

There is a medication at the pharmacy for that now.  It is advertised on television.  I think it is from the same manufacturer for warts...sorry, sad and true.

Actually I had them when I became pregnant and now two years later they are gone.  I am guessing in my case, they were hormonal.
