    Hello there, I have a Dell XPS M1330 and I have accidantly removed the default printer (I don't know

    much about computers). I did it because I thought it needs to have a 'clear' page in Control Panel/Hardware/Printers before I can add a new printer.
    It seems that is not the case!?!?!? Can you confirm that? Do I need the mircosoft printer before having a printer connected? In that case, please tell me what to do to get it back! Thank you very much for an easy answer! Martina Hubel

      If you deleted the printer completely from your computer, then you will have to re-install the printer's software by running the instill disc again.
