I didn't exactly freak out but I've had nightmares for the past two nights. It might be related. I watched some of it on tv. ten years ago I didn't look at the tv so this was horrifying. I kind of wish they hadn't run it. It causes such hurt to relive. ten years ago I spent days and days on cnn and writing and writing poetry -- just whatever came from my soul.

colleen: thank you for your songs and your words. I can not understand why people hate gay people so much. People they don't even know.

I'm posting here because my lap top is broken and NOW my desk top isn't working right. : ((

Thank you so much Jenn, I needed that, it really does hurt thinking about that day. Love ya, xoxoxo.

there was a pastor at my church who was in that . he told us how he ran down the stairs and people were falling all over each other and people were trying to help them and all the smoke fire and total mayhem going on. the story was horrifying. i cannot imagine what these people went through. all i can do is pray for them and their families and pray for divine protection against all terrorist attacks and of all evildoers that would do us harm. i will certainly pray for them and their families and all the brave people who came to their rescue, living or dead.

Yes I know and that's what makes you such a loveable person. (((hugs)))

Don't get too upset, you'll wear yourself down.

Unnecessary loss of life, violation of innocence should be enough to make anyone and everyone cry. I lost my dearest friend in a UK London bombing, such a waste, such a tragedy.

I didnot watch video, etc  with negative feelings, Guess our  expressions are different, When I said , I felt cold, I ment the song and TV fottage, for part I watched,  The horror of what unfolded, really effected me, so I can never imagin, what it was like been there. Thank God, I didnot see it happen for real. In my mind, while watching video, brough all the horrow feelings back.

Oh! Sorry. You're right, I misunderstood what you were saying. Yes, watching the TV footage while listening to the song could give the song a whole new edge.

    just dont think about it...

Couldn't bring myself to watch any of it. It totally devastated me ten years ago until today.

Thank you Colleen , for sharing the video. I have just watched it, and  the words of  the  song  made me feel cold, because as I listened to words, thoes TV pictures, were so clear in my mind.

Sorry they made you feel cold. For me they bring up a whole flood of emotion. Everyone is different though. I'm sorry the video was a negative for you. :(

I remember that day, where I was and how I felt. My feelings haven't changed... I'm ready for it to be tomorrow, I don't know how much more I can take. God Bless all of you!

I watched some of it but i was brought to tears and I so upset yesterday it was heart breaking I know hou you feel ole hipster you are not alone xxx

" You are not alone and never shell you be my dear, (we) are all in this together and we all feel your pain! " ( GOD ALMIGHTY)! feel are pain and let freedom (ROAR) ! "

Hipster,do not be harsh with yourself for being human.Your emotions are rational for a completely irrational act of savagery against humankind. We ALL lost something that day; and not just Americans. We must never forget, but we must also carry on.

I will never forget that day or seeing it in real time.  I don't need an anniversary to remind me.  I think about it often and it always makes me cry.  How can it not?

I saw a few minutes of the live footage were the first tower fell... Gasping and putting my hand over my mouth.... Everytime I see it feels like the first time.... Hippy, you are in good company, I think we are all still, after ten years, in disbelief.

I tried to fight back my tears when I watched the boy who said on TV that he lost his dad a decade ago on 9/11 when he was a baby.  But I felt better when Obama read the comforting verses from Psalm.  We all feel sorry for this big tragedy.   We pray that God bless America.  United we stand!
