      Ghiradeli (sorry if it's misspelled) is one of the best chocolates available.  I buy candy making supplies at places like Joann's, Michael's, and other craft type stores.  Wal Mart will carry it during holiday times as well.  
      Many candies are made with regular "ingredients".
