    can i clean carpet with laundry soap

    I like Vinegar and water. Then rinse with clean water

    Never tried laundry soap myself but  have used an all purpose cleaner in the water. Guess it also depends on the quality of carpet you have. I live in a rental with very old carpets so don't really worry too much about spending all that money on the carpet cleaner soap.

    it depends are you talking about pouring a little on the floor and cleaning or putting it in a floor cleaning machine and using that.....If you do use it VERY sparingly....Floor cleaners soaps are made to be low suds and laundry detergent isnt.....If you use too much be prepared to have a suds floor and have to clean for a while!!!!!  Good Luck!!!
