I remember being the envy of my brothers because I got a paratrooper with a parachute that worked and you could throw the guy from anywhere and he'd come floating down...it was so cool...

I have a hot dog whistle ... it is very cool.  So cool, I still have a hot dog whistle.  Did I mention how cool it is?  It is very cool.

I got a magnifying glass, a whistle, several charm bracelet items. The magnifying glass  was my favorite toy as it aroused my interest in looking at small things. I saved my money and bought a  4 inch glass lens for $3.00. and a microscope was under the Christmas tree later that year. When I was seven I made a radio, electromagnets, several radio transmitters and spent too much time in libraries to have much of a kids life. I was reading college textbooks by the time I was ten and found school, in my age group, to be a boring waste of time.
