I love Mexican food, but Dallas has a lot of Tex-Mex. When I lived there the best places were the little restaurants, some of the best food I found was in the gas stations. There are quite a few good BBQ places there also. Love and War in Texas in Plano has awesome fried pickles etc... Good luck best thing to do is look for the cop cars and fire trucks. They usually eat at good places..

I lived in Dallas, TX for 8 years after college. You can find anything. Let me just give you a link to these types of resturants b/c it has been so long since I have been back. I hope this helps you!
