Instructions
1
Download a converter program. An example of a free one is, Format Factory (see Resources). Click on the download link and then hit "OK."
2
Look for the "FFSetup190.exe" file that should be open now. If this doesn't work, then you'll need to download software that can open zipped files. An example is WinRar (See Resources).
3
Double-click on the EXE program to begin the installation process. Click "I Agree" after reading the license agreement that comes up. In the next screen, click on "Install" to begin the installation process. After it finishes, click on "Finish" to begin.
4
Click on the "Rom Device/DVD/CD/ISO" tab. You'll see buttons listed there. Put your DVD in the DVD ROM drive. Click on the "DVD to Video File" button. A new window will pop up. Click on the drop-down menu that's next to the "Output Settings" button. Select "AVI" from the options in the menu that appears.
5
Click on the "Convert" button. This will take you back to the main screen. You will likely have more than one conversion depending on how many video tracks were on your DVD. They should be listed here under the "Source" label. Click on the "Start" button at the top of the screen to begin the conversions.
