    They can get what they call is Cat Flue which raelly contageous to other cats if not treated they will die or if they do live they will normaly always have infected eyes and thier breathing is not quite right

    Yes, they do.  They sneeze too.

    Last winter we took my cat to the vet because she didn't feel well and wouldn't eat,  The vet said she got my cold and it was more likely that they get what we have than us getting something from them. 

    Yes, and allergies and upper-respitatory infections and the like.
