I've never heard of olive oil healing a scar, but my great-grand mother died at 87 years old had beautiful skin and hair, she drank a teaspoon of olive oil most every day and she even put it in her hair and skin.. Of how i hated going to see grandma, she really smelled bad but she always gave me a quarter. :)
