Ewwwwww! In the Santa Cruz mountains there are bananna slugs. After it rains they turn bright yellow and are rather attractive. I took one home for my preschool to enjoy. By the time I got home (50 minutes) the slug had turned brown and yuck. Oh yuck.
We would pour salt on them and watch them dry up. None of us turned out to be serial killers though......
OMG ... We did the same thing. I just didn’t want to say so. None of us turned out to be serial killers either. They we so gross when they bubbled. The kids loved it BUT I took them out of the area before I tossed my cookies.
