      Yep, I think it may be that you are clicking OK instead of Apply? Also, are you doing a proper shutdown from Windows (Start/Turn Off Computer/Turn Off, if you are using XP that is), as opposed to just hitting the power button or power bar? That might also cause what you are seeing.
