Ask your boyfriend to go to church with you each week. Ask him to help with house work on weekends. Have him go with you to work at your mothers house or his mothers house. Take kids to a movie together. Have him bring tools to fix appliances and toys. Ask him to read stories to the children you are babysitting. 

Life is about sharing responsibility and in-laws always put me to work . The 15 year old boy friend should have the right of passage changing dippers and bathing infants. It is something expected of prospective in-laws  to know what is in front of them. If your boyfriend can pass the in-law test then they have a chance to become a member of the klan.
