Because you downloaded an app that included the Bing search engine. Anytime you download something, choose the custom download option so you can uncheck whatever comes with the download that you do not want. To disable Bing, right click on Edit and click Conduit engine to uncheck Bing (Bing hides under the name Conduit Engine). To remove Bing completely from your computer, go to your Start menu > Control panel > add/uninstall programs > locate conduit or conduit engine > uninstall
