Do not marry this man! Something is seriously wrong! He should be proud to introduce you to his family. If his family is dysfunctional he should explain. He is to secretive. Do you not see the WARNING SIGN?
Does he have siblings, childhood friends, does he introduce you to them?
He needs to open up, 2 years and a closed mouth? No way!

There obviously is a reason while your partner is shielding you from his family,Sounds like he has something to hide,maybe his family is disfunctional and he might think they don't live up to your standards which may cause embarrasment for him.Don't plan your future with your partner until you know everything you need to know about him.

Shaketta you sound very nieve this guy is up to know good he is hiding something and as you say you are not bad looking so if I was a guy I would want to show you off so why isnt he doing this you really have to put this relationship into touch with the real world give a option that if he doesnt take you to his parents in two days and see his so called friends its finnished pronto and as for his mom I am a very busy Mom I have my own buisness and and when my son came no warning with his girlfriend i was over the moon he just surprized me traveling 300 miles no phone call no tex no email wouldnt that be nice if he did that and you can bring the flowers for his mom tell now or pack his bags

You have lived together a year .... He visits his family quite often ... You have never met his family nor his friends??? Why are you still with him???

and no thats def not what i want. im ready to move on just wanted some opinions before a make a final decision. and no he isnt married nor has he ever been.
as as far as being ashamed of me i should hope not i am very accomplished for my age and have never had a problem with anyone being ashamed of me for any reason. if i found out that were it it would be over instantly.
ant to answer you other question im not sure why im still here yet but idk that it will be much longer.

Oh Shaketta this guy is hiding something from you or not telling you thruth on something I would not trust him Most guys always show thier Mom and Dad thier girlfriend quite quick its a guy thing they want to show off what they have two years this some what seems very strange has ever given you areason for not going with you! and that thing about his mom is busy its codswallop I think its time to show him your hand if not show him cards (the DOOR)

i have mentioned it to him and he said his mom is a very busy woman it has to be planned.
and then never planned anything.
and about his friends i have tride to plan superbowl parties and fight nights for the guys to come to the house and hang out with him he says yes but then when the day comes or is or the day before he will say we are going to go to the bar and watch it.
and once i told him i dont believe that anyone knows about me and he said the people that need to know about me know about me...
