        Kids need to be able to depend on their parents. Parents need to be dependable. They aren't.


        Citizens need to be able to depend on their elected officials. Elected officials need to be dependable. They aren't.


        This could go on and on in all different directions. When all is said and done, we all have to depend on ourselves and others for most of what goes on in our lives.  The real problem here is that, as humans, we just can't depend on others or even ourselves all the time.


        The only place we can put our faith and never worry about dependability is with God.


        I depend on God.
