Thi is why you have more than one email account. Then they can send reset lnks to your default email. This computer stuff sucks and seems way to complicated sometimes. When I first started I am lucky that my head did not explode from frustration.This lap top came close to death many times .There is a drop down that says do you wish to save the pass word for this site . Hopefully you clicked on that. If you have edit at top of your screen click on it select preference that will take you to the screen storeing passwords /select security click on it the find show passwords click then you should see your password.
