      should be a little notch back there that you can slide a sharp knife under and pop off. you mite have to take it to the store to replace batteries

        If  you look near the top where the  button changers time, you shoud find a  small dent  were you can open it with a dime or a small flat screwdriver.  the opening dent is hard to see use a magnfing


        glass  the dent could be at the bottom from the top.  hope this helps, it always works for me
