      When the average human life span was 40, life was so harsh that folks were glad it was over so quickly.

        When I was in my 20s I never really expected to live past 40.I am now in my 60s & everyday above ground is a bonus to me.LOL

          I would have children earlier, at an age so I would be middle aged when I had grandchildren.  I guess I'd just do everything earlier.  I hope I wouldn't sit around and wait for death to come knocking at my door.   yvonne57
