Want this transmission to last and to shift properly then use nothing but Genuine HONDA ATF. I know, it is a little expensive and some people will tell you that this brand and that brand are compatible. I know from experience. Change the fluid every 36,000 miles and Use ONLY Honda ATF in your Civic. Money well spent. Transmission repairs are very expensive.
