Yes, for one, Isaiah , professied (sp) the coming of Jesus and the teachings of Jesus, and even the torturing of and the crucifiction of Jesus.They needed prophets, so they would know who was the Messiah later on .....when he stepped into the picture. It would be nice if we had prophets now. I do beleive that some of the early folk-rock singers were prophets. They did profisise (sp) events before they happened......like Bob Dylan. I don't have spell check. Sow wy .
