      could be many things but one possibility is fluid retention

        Fluid retention. Prop your feet up, cut back on sodium (that means diet soda, too),wear support hose

          Possible casues: gout, arthritis, infection, vascular obstruction, edema.

            Some medications can also make your feet swell....check any meds you are taking for side effects. Otherwise like jhharlan stated...get those puppies elevated....if swelling doesn't get better after say 24 hours I would contact my doctor if I were you. I'm sure there are other causes too...try googling your question for further info...(:
