You can also talk to a favorite aunt or uncle or a teacher that you trust....they might be able to help you get the lines of communication open between yourself and your folks...good luck!

Whatever  you do, refrain from using sign language with them, especially when the middle finger is deployed

You can write and tell them you need to talk, and they need to listen. Set up a time you can meet.

If you have an issue that you can't seem to tell your parents, you can always call a teen help line and talk with a councillor. Through them you might find a way to talk with your parents in a way that you feel comfortable and safe,

CODA Codependants Anonymous is a group of people who usually meet every week and sometimes more often to help clear up relationship problems with adults, children and siblings etc. I have been a member for years and I enjoy going to meetings. There are people there who love to talk with others and listen to what they have to say without  interruption. You can get your point across there. Their meeting schedule is listed in your local newspaper and on bulletin boards.
