    Why can't you refrigerate bananas?

    they turn black, the sugar content increases, and they are no longer good for you. This is what I was told. It might be an old wives tale.

    If you put them in the fridge the skin turns blak as cole but the inside remains firm and good as long or maybe longer then on the counter. You just have to peel and judge like any other banana.


    I know you can freeze them if you are going to bake with them at a later date.

    i don`t know,i never have done it.
