Petrol Perplexed
how can I get better petrol mileage, 2002 BA Ford XT
I drive fairly conservatively, No racing from lights, no heavy accelerating etc, but the fuel consumption is poor. Have replaced injeciors with equal matched flow rated injectors, replaced all ignition coils and fuel filter, and top quality spark plugs, Air filter renewed, Fitted high rolling tyres and use top grade synthetic oil, Everything recommended to improve fuel consumption.
COULD I FIT LOWER FLOW RATED INJECTORS ie. 70ml cycle rather than 75ml cycle when tested. not bothered if the car is a bit sluggish compared to how it is now. Not sluggish at all ! Or fit higher rated injectors at say 78ml cycle when tested ???
