I shudder to think what "Fate" has in store for me, but am comfortable not worrying about what God has in store for me. 
I certainly CAN picture a better life for myself, but myself is responsible for making it happen.

Very surprised this question went two years without any response.

This is so similar to a Question I just commented in.FATE??? Who knows? Control the things you can control.Accept the things you can't but don't go down without a fight.

When a final assessment is in and all I have thought, said, done, not done and affected, along the way, is taken into account...my fate in God's hands, upon my knees, a verdict will be heard with every unforgiven notion first and praise last, and then direction of service as my fate, given me. Conditional responses are not offered,given or received. A new beginning.....
