          Depending on the number and size of each pepper, you will need enough very ground beef to fill them.  Here's my family recipe.  Two pounds of lean ground beef, one cup of finely chopped onions and one cup of long grain rice.  Add a half teaspoon of salt in mixture and stuff the peppers till just above the pepper's rim.  Place in pot, add water to almost the the top of pan and add tomato sauce and a quarter cup of lemon juice.  Cook slowly for about 45 minutes till meat is done.
