we own a Henry vacumn cleaner. What would make it stop intermittently when used in warm weather? It works properly when the weather is cooler.

It broke down quite awhile ago when an internal electrical contact broke. I repaired it by resoldering the contact. Ever since the repair it has functioned perfectly except when the temperature rises. Then every now and again it stops cools and restarts again. one has time to clean one room only and then waitthe wait for restart begins. Help!

You may want to check the repaired wire to make it isn't shorting out but, by the sounds of it your vacuum is over heating, why is the question check your filters, make sure you don't have any blockage even partial.

Good answer. Over heating was my first thought. Vacuums have a few filters so make sure you look for them all comics.
