I'm not sure where the St. Lawrence River starts, but I believe it empties into Lake Ontario. My in-laws lived in a little village called Cape Vincent, in New York. Their home was across the street from the St. Lawrence River. Two miles up the road was Lake Ontario, complete with lighthouse. Very beautiful.
