How can you tell the turtle is female??

turtle's sex can be determined by the age of five. female tail is shorter and thinner than that of males
Oh!! Thanks! I didn't know that, really! Now my question is, what if you don't have the other sex male or female to make this comparison?> :) If I only have one turtle and its five years old, I still don't know what it is.. LOL
